I see, I see
with a deep sorrow within me.
The dishonor of Thy majesty.
Thy grace abundant bestowed on me.
Exclaimed by many as heresy,
unjust they claim the ruling of Thee.
O if you let us be.
Woe is me.
Sin would be no drudgery,
but youthful indulgence and jubilee.
O can you see the hypocrisy.
Holy God don’t let me be,
for I’ll be left in slavery.
Let your fire set me free,
even if it means the death of me.
