If God does know,
my needs below,
all cause for anxiety must go,
for sufficient grace will surely flow.
He is a Father like none other,
withholds no good because of my Brother.
And surely He does know; even before I open my mouth,
his messenger soweth,
the Spirit prepares and ploweth.
I wait upon my LORD in dependence.
I open my mouth wide and He fills,
yes He fills it, with glorious songs of deliverance.
His glorious grace sounding forth from all the hills.
For He alone is mighty to save,
yes even me, the wretched, the lost, the slave…
