To be…
So simple!
Yet alluding; intruding
my innermost me,
to be…
How can I be?
Oh so simple yet defining; refining
the exact reason
and it would be treason
to say the reason is me!
For I became to be,
and once there was no me.
Hence if there once was no me,
and I am the reason that I can be,
then there would be no me.
For if once I was not,
then I could not be.
Yet I am and to be,
is not in me.
Neither is it found in any created thing,
for it too once was not,
and would have to say like me,
I am and to be,
is not in me.
To be…
does not depend on me,
for the reason I am to be,
is not found in me!
Therefore the life I live I live wholly in Thee!
