Let me never say like many false teachers do:
O God loves me just the way I am.
No, let’s not twist Scripture to sooth our hearts.
If God loved us just the way we are then he needn’t have send His son and made Him a curse on the cross.
We are by nature enemies of God and only by His grace He works in us, giving us a new heart. Sanctifying us day by day to be more like Christ.
Let’s not abuse the grace of God and settle in sin and declare I need not change.
No true believer can stand the sight of sin. Repent and believe that by the sole grace of God in Christ we have been saved and are born again. Seeking the things above, not the pleasures of our sinful desires.
